Welcome from the Chairperson
Pharma Logistics Africa (PLA2022)
Dear Distinguished Delegates, Colleagues, Partners,
On behalf of PNYX Ltd, and as Chairman of this important event, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to Pharma Logistics Africa (PLA2022) live in Nairobi, Kenya. I want to thank the organizing committee for their hard work in pulling this big and relevant event together.
This is a great opportunity for all stakeholders and partners to collaborate and work together to improve health care and social development agendas in the continent and beyond.
One of the key goals of the Agenda 2063 is to alleviate poverty and disease as well as improving healthcare infrastructure. The high acute disease prevalence rates experienced in all the countries is driving the market for primary healthcare and diagnostic products.
Safe and Quality, Affordable Medicines, Vaccines and Medical products to the population in the continent, through building and strengthening the capacity to local manufacturing and supply of affordable, high-quality generic essential medicines and using efficient technologies, is a top priority issue and this deliberation and meeting of minds will be instrumental to advance the key agenda.
PLA2022 offers a valuable backdrop for high-level discussions, panels, innovations and networking that will provide new opportunities for partnerships between public and private sector and new ideas across the pharma logistics spectrum. It will also help us to further our efforts to strengthen and secure the access of medicines, vaccines and related health commodities.
The event format of high-level plenary sessions, exhibition booths, personable 1-2-1 matchmaking meetings and various networking and social functions will provide something for everyone resulting in stronger networks and platforms for regional and international cooperation to strategise the solutions to the region's most challenging issues. PLA2022 covers all aspects of Local Pharmaceutical Production, Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Sustainability and Transparency, New Technologies & Innovation, Africa's Legal and Regulatory Environment, Public Health Systems, Pandemic Preparedness and Emergency Response, Community-Level Responses, Management & Distribution of Medical Products and many more etc.
With highest appreciation,
I wish you a successful deliberation and fruitful results.
