Action on Disaster Relief 2018
GRV Global proudly presents the 3rd annual Action on Disaster Relief forum being held at the Wyndham Panama Albrook Mall Hotel on 5-7 February 2018, Panama City.

“The Action on Disaster Relief forum set the foundations to create a long-lasting partnership among us (public and private sector leaders); to coordinate actions to generate the preparedness required to reduce the impact of disasters and face them in the most effective way” remarked H.E. María Luisa Navarro, Vice Minister of Multilateral Affairs & Cooperation, Government of Panama.

Action on Disaster Relief (ADR2018), Chaired by CDEMA Executive Director Ronald Jackson, will continue this momentum by tackling the key issues around preparedness, risk reduction, disaster relief and recovery head-on, through GRV Global’s revered format of keynotes, discussion panels, networking/social events, exhibition, and face-to-face matchmaking meetings. Once again, the Latin America and Caribbean region will be well represented by senior Government officials alongside key United Nations, disaster agency, EU, NGO, society, trade and chamber stakeholders. Action on Disaster Relief offers a very rare opportunity for leading public and private sector actors to share experiences and knowledge, develop best practices, and showcase new technologies & services capable of furthering the region’s disaster relief and resilience efforts.

Why Panama?
Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) are vital to realising the Government of Panama’s operation to create a Regional Logistics Centre for Humanitarian Assistance (Hub) – to channel timely assistance, maximising infrastructure, communications and services throughout the region.

Location...
Panama serves as a crossroad to the Americas and enjoys close proximity to the Caribbean. It's safe, welcoming, and multicultural, with a stable Government and rapidly expanding economy. In 2018 it will complete its Humanitarian Hub; a regional headquarters for the United Nations, and enjoys fantastic transportation connections and trade links including of course, the Panama Canal.

Who should attend?
The key to creating lasting collaborations is engagement. At a GRV Global event you will engage all participants directly whether that's during the plenary sessions, around the venue at one of our more social networking occasions or, through our pre-scheduled afternoon 1-2-1 matchmaking sessions.

Those wishing to initiate or further their disaster related operations across the Latin America and Caribbean region simply must attend Action on Disaster Relief. Equally, representatives of UN, U.S. and EU disaster agencies, NGO and government officials, think-tanks and academics should grasp the opportunity to meet hundreds of link-minded colleagues in a safe, relaxed yet stimulating and enjoyable environment.

Action on Disaster Relief is a must attend event for those looking to help their organisations improve emergency and humanitarian response while driving stable economic development! GRV Global offers a rare forum through which international participants can meet, engage, and return home with tangible results.
