Ms. Thomas has over 30 years of experience in the mining industry. She spent 14 years with Aber Diamond Corporation, advancing from geologist on the Diavik deposit discovery to Vice President Exploration and later Board Director. She co-founded Stornoway Diamond Corp., leading it as CEO and then Executive Chairman, where she drove the acquisition of the Renard deposit, which became Quebec's first diamond mine. In 2007, she co-founded Lucara Diamond with Lukas Lundin and Catherine McLeod-Seltzer, later serving as CEO from 2018 to 2023. Eira currently serves as CEO of North Arrow Minerals and Chair of the Board at Westhaven Gold Corp. and Tectonic Metals Inc.

Itumeleng Kgomo, a Mega Project Specialist, started his career as a hotelier and worked for numerous local and Global Chains. Being an entrepreneur, he left the tourism trade to run a Specialist Development Firm. In 2007, he joined The National Treasury of South Africa to become an operational specialist for G20, and then as “2010 soccer world operational plan templates for the 2010 Soccer World Cup tournament in South Africa. The Treasury retained him for his project management expertise, in Megaproject evaluation. The mandate was to evaluate the new build programs’ and was further charged with co-developing and motivating a 50-year energy program for South Africa. In 2012, he was retained by the Department of Public Enterprises to monitor and evaluate their megaprojects, which were of national interest. Oversight of the Presidential Projects known as Strategic Integration Projects (SIPs), was also part of his responsibility. Currently, Tumi is the Chief Executive Officer of EPCM Global, an Engineering and consulting firm, that focuses on business innovation enablement, specifically within the energy, nuclear sector, and first-of-kind technologies locally and globally.

Sam Chikowore is a family man, married with a son and a daughter, has a lifelong background in the mining industry spanning back to 1993. He initially was involved with a chrome-mining venture which had operations on the Zimbabwe Great-Dyke. After a couple of years in distribution, Sam took up a new role managing earth-moving equipment with contracts at the country's largest open-cast platinum miner with another contract running at a chrome smelter. Sam was later to leave that project to start his own chrome mining venture on a tribute basis working with the two leading ferro-chrome producing companies in Zimbabwe at the time. In 2002 Sam set up a new company Exporien Mining P/L, coming in as Managing Director. Sam sought to use the Exporien vehicle to diversify into other mineral commodities outside his chrome comfort zone.
