Venue & Accommodation
The Golden Tulip Dar es Salaam Hotel is located on a tranquil green area of the Msasani Peninsula, Dar es Salaam. The seaside location of the hotel gives you a fantastic view of the Indian Ocean. The architecture is inspired by the Arabic influences on the Swahili coast and provides a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere. The entrance hall is spectacular with it's stately pillars, rotunda and grand dome. The city centre, main business area, international organisations and embassies are all located nearby. The airport is situated just 18 km from the hotel on the outskirts of the city.
  
The hotel features 91 rooms and suites, including the largest Presidential Suite in Dar es Salaam, most of which provide magnificent views of the Indian Ocean. Leisure facilities at the hotel include an infinity pool directly situated on the Indian Ocean and a shopping arcade. Dining facilities include ‘Sanaa’, an all-day dining restaurant located on the first floor and offering a variety of international dishes and a la carte options; the Lobby Coffee Shop; Rendez-Vous Café, and the Ocean View Bar & Grill with views over the Indian Ocean and offering a grill menu and a variety of shisha flavours.

Visas 
The vast majority of visitors to Tanzania are required to obtain a visit visa in order to enter the country. Many nationalities may obtain their visa upon arrival ($50 cash only) but others, must gain their visa before departing their country of origin.
